a campaign by LES HUB
So, you wake up and figure out you’re creative and have to make art in some form.
And this is great.
It’s expression.
It’s your heart.
But before long, you realize you’re very much on your own without a safety net.
That’s what happens.

In our opinion, artists are one of the most underserved communities on the planet.
25 years ago all funding dried up from governments around the world.  Art and artists and society at large have suffered because of it. Artists haven’t reached their potential or their ability to inspire everyone without this help.

The Campaign

LES HUB has taken up the mantle and have started an artist incubator where artists can come for 4 month cohorts to live and work with people who can help them reach higher.

We need your support, though, to make this all sustainable. LES HUB is offering an NFT collection of “Our Lady of the Lower East Side” created by Ori Carino, a life long Lower East Sider in Manhattan NYC.

The Art

‘Our Lady’ was painted on a 6 x 9 foot canvas. Ori then walked every block of the LES taking pictures of all the famous spots. He then painted 19 more canvasses of those scenes. Next everything was scanned and put in the computer. The scenes were inserted into her gown—and everything was COLORIZED!  I call it jazz. The result is amazing.  So is Ori.

Next, we found a manufacturer in Michigan that makes plaques of every size and color. ’Our Lady’ is printed on these brick size plaques and as they’re sold, we will place them on the side of the building, eventually covering a building 60 feet high and 25 feet wide in an amazing back in real life mosaic piece.

The difference YOU can make

We are selling “bricks” and need your support.   You will receive an NFT of your individual brick, and a physical stamped print. Your contribution will help LES HUB become sustainable by purchasing their buildings. Bricks are selling for $5,000. The larger window coverings on the building are selling for $20,000 - there aren’t very many.

Please help us help the artists that need your support by purchasing an NFT brick today.  You can make a difference.
